Panel Discussion: Moonshots and Missions - Federal Space Priorities and Regional Advantages
How are shifting NASA and Department of Defense priorities shaping the future of the U.S. space economy, and where does our Tri-State region fit into that future? Join an expert panel of leaders from commercial space, defense innovation, and emerging technology law for a dynamic discussion on the policies, programs, and investments driving the next era of space activity. Moderated by Justine Kasznica, Founder and Board Chair of the Keystone Space Collaborative and Chair of the Emerging Technology Practice Group at Babst Calland, the conversation will feature insights from Dan Hendrickson of Astrobotic Technology, whose experience spans payload sales, commercial lunar missions, and national space policy, alongside Phil Hahn, a senior defense and acquisition leader who helped build AFWERX and SpaceWERX into the Department of the Air Force’s leading commercial innovation pipeline. Panelists will explore recent federal announcements and strategic priorities, the growing intersection of commercial space and national security, and emerging opportunities for regional companies, universities, investors, and innovators to engage in the rapidly evolving space ecosystem.
We encourage you to attend the virtual meeting and invite any of your contacts who may have an interest in joining the Keystone Space community!
